The Education Department strives to work closely with all departments and associates within MCHHS as well as with associates from surrounding physician clinics.

The Education Department provides in-service training programs for all hospital personnel, planned programs and resources for personal and professional development of all associates, teaching programs for patients and families, and orientation for new associates.

The Education Department serves as a training site for the American Heart Association to provide certification in:

·   Heartsaver and Healthcare Provider CPR

·   Hearsaver First Aid

·   Advanced Cardiac Life Support

In addition to these certification levels we also provide Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics
