Dr. Fugate graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in 1980. He then completed medical school at the University of Kansas in 1984. Dr. Fugate completed his family practice residency at St. Joseph Medical Center. He joined the MCHHS staff in 1987.He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
He and his wife Mary have three children: Joe, Ben and Joshua.
