DONNA MOODY RETIRES FROM MITCHELL COUNTY HOSPITAL HEALTH SYSTEMS
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) is honored to announce the retirement of Donna Moody, Registered Nurse, and to recognize her for 23 years of dedicated service to our organization. Donna’s last day with the hospital will be May 1st. The Acute Nursing department will be hosting a public reception for her at MCHHS in the South Dining Room on May 5th from 3:30 – 4:30 pm.
Donna earned her Registered Nurse degree from Marymount College in Salina in 1982. She began her career at MCHHS on February 26, 2002, in Long Term Care before transitioning to the Acute Department, where she remained dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Donna particularly enjoyed working the nightshift in ICU, where she made a meaningful impact on both patients and colleagues. Reflecting on her career, she notes that adapting to electronic health records has been one of the most challenging aspects of the evolving healthcare landscape.
Donna and her husband, Randy have one daughter: Victoria and her husband, Jeremy, of Jamestown, New York. They have one grandson, Donovan.
Donna shares, “I always felt happier here than anywhere else I’ve worked. I’m grateful for the people I’ve met during my time here.”
"Donna has dedicated over 23 years of her career to MCHHS. We deeply appreciate her dedication and commitment to providing excellent patient care, and we are thankful for her contributions to the nursing profession,” said Nicki Cleveland, Chief Nursing Officer. “We wish Donna a retirement that is as fulfilling as her career has been. Her commitment to nursing has truly made a difference."
