Mitchell County Regional Medical Foundation
The Mitchell County Regional Medical Foundation (MCRMF), founded in 2008, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing healthcare in North Central Kansas. As a key partner to Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems, we raise and manage funds to support hospital needs and broader community health initiatives. Our work centers around four pillars: Perdue Hospitality Home, which we operate and maintain as a home-away-from-home for families with loved ones receiving hospital care—ensuring no one has to worry about lodging costs during a medical crisis; Community Health, where we invest in initiatives that strengthen rural health and wellness through prevention, outreach, and local partnerships; Hospital Support, funding capital projects, priority needs, and equipment that enhance patient care and keep high-quality services close to home; and Scholarships & Recruitment, where we grow the next generation of rural healthcare professionals through scholarships, workforce development programs, and return-to-practice incentives.

Auxiliary
The Auxiliary consists of approximately 50 dedicated members and has been serving the hospital and surrounding community for over 55 years. These volunteers play a crucial role in fundraising efforts throughout the year, with proceeds allocated to various initiatives. A portion of the funds supports ongoing projects, including events for the Resident Care Center and scholarships for local students pursuing medical careers. Additionally, an annual donation is made to fund a new hospital project. The Auxiliary’s primary funding source is the Economy Shop, followed by the MCHHS Gift Shop. In partnership with MCHHS, the Auxiliary also hosts the annual Teddy Bear Clinic each fall for kindergarten students.Auxiliary Officers
