Biography:
Dr. Smith received her Doctorate in Medicine from New York Medical College in May of 2022. She completed her Family Medicine residency at KU-Via Christi Family medicine in Wichita, KS in June of 2025. She grew up in Westchester, New York where she and her husband resided prior to moving to Kansas for her residency training in 2022. She has a passion for rural and international medicine and is excited to start her medical practice at BMC in September of 2025. Her special interests include obstetrics and adults complex chronic care. She and her husband Lowell (LJ) have been foster parents for over 2 years and enjoy traveling, playing outside and spending quality time with the kids they have been blessed to have in their family.
