FRONT DOOR ACCESS HOURS AT MCHHS
Hospital Visitation Hours and Guidelines during the COVID-19 Pandemic.Out-patients, Visitors, Vendors and Government Officials will be required to complete a pre-screening to be granted entrance into our facility. Front entrance screening is available Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. In the event of an emergency, patrons may use the intercom system or the West ER entrance.
We ask all visitors to abide by the following guidelines to help us continue to protect the vulnerable. We encourage all visitors to bring their own mask to wear to preserve the hospital's supply for healthcare needs.
●Patients are allowed TWO VISITORS AT A TIME during visiting hours. Current Visiting hours are Monday-Friday, 11 am to 4 pm and Saturday, 1 pm to 4 pm. No visitation on Sunday or Holidays at this time.
●Delivering mothers in nursery may assign one support person during their stay. No other visitors allowed.
●No Visitors are permitted for patients in isolation or those who have a COVID-19 diagnosis.
●Visitors must be 16 years or older.
●Visitors must remain in the patient's room and use social distancing. Use call light if needed.
●ER Visitors must enter through the ER Department and be screened.
●Visitation will be different for all patients based on emergency and will be decided by the physician and attending nursing staff.
●One guardian for patients younger then 18.
●One caregiver for patients with disabilities needing assistance.
EVERYONE WILL BE SCREENED UPON ENTRY
ALL VISITORS MUST WEAR A MASK, BADGE & HAND SANITIZE
●Must wear a mask throughout the visit, including in hallways, public areas and in patient rooms. Mask must be worn properly, over nose and under chin.
●Must visibly wear the provided visitors badge at all times.
●Must use hand hygiene prior to entering and exiting the patient's room.
END OF LIFE VISITATION
●Once end of life is determined by a physician, 2 family members will be allowed in the patient's room at a time. No hour restrictions.

Again, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation with following these guidelines. Visiting hours and guidelines are subject to change during this unprecedented time. We still recommend using FaceTime, Skype, Zoom or phone as much as possible to connect with your loved ones to help limit the exposure of illnesses to our acute patients, residents and staff. MCHHS reserves the right to rescind the visitations to protect the health and safety of everyone in the event of an outbreak, such as influenza, COVID-19 or other emerging disease.
