Senior Life Enrichment
As we enter our senior years, not only do we have fond memories, but there are also more special memories ahead for us to create. Yet at times, we may find ourselves troubled by experiences influencing our golden years.
Senior Life Enrichment is an intensive outpatient program offered by Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems. This service provides therapeutic support to adults, typically age 65 and older, through group and individual therapy, hosted by our experienced and caring team of mental health professionals, including a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed social worker, registered nurse, and additional support professionals.
Who Can Benefit from Senior Life Enrichment?

● Not able to concentrate

Our Approach
Empowerment Through Connection
After assessing your unique needs, program participants meet up to three times each week. Within a small group setting, our program promotes a sense of belonging and community. We also offer activities that foster social bonds, helping older adults feel more connected to others and to life itself.
Mindful Wellness
We emphasize the importance of self-care, mindfulness, and stress management. Through mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques, and cognitive-behavioral strategies, we help older adults reduce anxiety, depression, and age-related stressors.
Personalized Support
Every individual's journey with mental well-being is unique. Our experienced team develops personalized care plans for each program participant. These plans address your specific needs and goals, ensuring that you receive the right support at the right time.
Referrals
Referrals can be self-made or made by family members, physicians, or other healthcare professionals. Senior Life Enrichment offers a free confidential assessment.
