Acute Nursing RN/LPN PT Nightshift
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems has an opening for a part-time RN or LPN in our Acute Nursing department. 12 hour shifts (7 pm to 7 am) with every third weekend and rotating holiday schedule. Shift differential and extra shift incentive pay available. Hospital experience for 2 years is preferred, but not required. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, delivering and evaluating the direct total care of patients of all ages within an assigned nursing unit.
The registered nurse supervises LPNs, NAs, Unit Secretaries and student nurses; works cooperatively with all nursing personnel and ancillary staff.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensure in the state of Kansas, or application for licensure with a work permit.
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires performing CPR.
