Solomon Valley Hospice
At Solomon Valley Hospice we recognize the immense challenges individuals and their families face when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to treatment, and how difficult it can be to navigate conversations about end-of-life care. Please know that we are here to be your partner, offering experienced and knowledgeable professional support during this time.
Our holistic approach focuses on both the physical comfort and emotional well-being of patients and their caregivers. We provide additional support to the patient's primary caregiver, whether a family member, friend, or care facility. Hospice care is fundamentally about supporting both the patient and their family by providing compassionate care to the individual in their final stages of life and offering comfort to families and loved ones.
It is important to understand that hospice is a palliative program centered on comfort and quality of life, rather than a curative one. Our efforts are focused on maintaining comfort through medication, social support, therapies, and other appropriate methods. Our program is designed to be open and responsive to the wishes of patients and their families, as you know your loved one best, and we are here to support you.
Our dedicated hospice team, including a hospice nurse, social worker, medical director, primary care physician, pharmacist, and volunteers, along with other specialists, works together to provide comprehensive care alongside you.
At Solomon Valley Hospice, our commitment is to always provide the highest quality of care, helping our patients achieve the greatest possible comfort and dignity. The hospice benefit offers a comprehensive healthcare approach for patients and families facing a life-limiting illness. When a patient is in hospice care, you can be confident they are receiving the same compassionate, respectful, and dignified care, characterized by genuine kindness and loyalty, that we would want for our own loved ones.
Solomon Valley Hospice is a non-profit, community-based organization that covers a 40 mile radius from Beloit to include the counties of Mitchell, Jewell, Lincoln, Cloud, Osborne, and Republic.
